Bittersweet Bundle of Misery

Ashley was sitting by the windowsill*. He tucked up his sleeve. The glasses were not on his face so I could see his expression clearly. I had never seen him without glasses this long. I remembered the first and only time I ever saw him taking off the glasses was when I dropped the book on his face. His eyes stayed blue as always, blue as deep ocean, as some painting color for fair artist. He was looking away but not lifeless. He wasn't watching anything in particular.

The wind from the river outside blew in and the sun made little glitter on his brown hair. I remembered the face on that postcard, the Young American. It was him. His face was not like that of any other white man. He was a mixed. I don't know whether I used the right word. A mixed, between man and woman, feminine and masculine, a real life human and an angel on statue or white man with other races which I could not describe in words. I never realized how young and beautiful he was and I was drawn by him, wondering what's on his mind, his thought, his pain, his scar, everything behind those wicked words and smile he used to stab me.

"Vish..nu.." He turned for me all of sudden and whispered my name slowly. His eyes wandered and looked tiresome like he never saw me before or rather I was the last person he wanted to see. I shuddered. I must have starred at him for quite a while. I wanted to turn away, but I couldn’t. Something was here and I didn’t want to let go. Something I hate.

ลองเขียนร่างของตอนหน้าออกมาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษดูครับ อยู่ดีๆ ก็แว่บขึ้นมาในหัวตอนั่ังมอร์ไซค์กลับบ้าน (Inspriration comes from everywhere.. I don't remember who said that..) รู้สึกว่าฟีลตอนเขียนภาษาไทยจะต่างกับภาษาอังกฤษโดยสิ้นเชิง ภาษาไทยกระด้างว่า ภาษาอังกฤษออกแนวหวานๆ เวอร์ๆ ยังไงก็ไม่รู้

ภาษาแต่ละภาษามีข้อจำกัดของมันเอง ซึ่งก็ขึ้นอยู่กับตัวผู้เขียนด้วยว่าจะใช้ภาษาใดในสถานการณ์แบบไหน และความถนัดของตน สำหรับผมแล้ว... เขียนฉากเลิฟๆ เป็นภาษาอังกฤษง่ายกว่า ฮี่ๆ

นิดนึง.. วันนี้ไปดู Vantage Point ที่ลิโด้มา เดินโฉบไป "ร้านนั้น" ที่โบนันซ่า เดี๋ยวนี้เวลาซื้อ "ไอ้นั่น" ต้องทำลับๆ ล่อ ๆเหมือนซีดีเถื่อนขนาดนี้เลยเหรอ!

(รหัสลับแบบคุโรมาตี้ "ไอ้นั่น"คืออะไร เด็กแถวนั้นรู้จักดี ฮ่าๆๆๆ )

ป.ล. ตอนนี้อ่าน Steppenwolf อยู่.. อะไรเนี่ย!! (ทำท่ารูปเดอะ สกรีม)

นอกจากจะเปลือง ATP ของท่านแล้ว ก็ไม่ได้ทำให้ท่านดูดี หรือทำให้สมองโง่ๆ ของท่านที่ไม่รู้ัจักระบบตรรกะหรือการอ่านภาษาไทยแตก พัฒนาขึ้นมาแต่อย่างใด
